NovaUVC™ for Ultraviolet Germicidal Irradiation

Advancing the art and science of Ultraviolet Germicidal Irradiation (UVGI) to protect our critical infrastructure from airborne pathogens and contaminants while promoting a sustainable world.

Ultraviolet Germicidal Irradiation For Cleaner & Safer Air

NovaUVC™ The Newest Method of UVGI Disinfection- Our unique experience has positioned us at the forefront of ultraviolet disinfection systems for large scale industrial air disinfection in hospitals, health care facilities, hospitality, military bases and other institutional facilities requiring high levels of disinfection and/or sterilization.

Our custom designed solutions are engineered to meet or exceed ASHRAE standards, are scalable and upgradeable with system redundancy, are easily serviceable and integrate into existing building automation systems all with the highest level of disinfection, lowest energy consumption and longest service life.

Prevention is the best medicine. We believe the best way to fight and reduce the spread of COVID-19 and other pathogens is prevention. We recommend following the ASHRAE guidelines to combat the spread of airborne viruses and pathogens. A combination of controls should be adopted wherever possible including the use of UV-C/UVGI to help disinfect critical environements. NovaUVC™ helps reduce the spread of viral and bacterial pathogens while adhering to ASHRAE, CDC and WHO guidelines. Let your customers know that you are committed to a higher standard.

NovaUVC™ for HVAC Microbial Control

UVGI also known as UV-C has been shown to inactivate viruses, bacteria, and fungi. Studies have shown that air-cleaning technologies using UV-C disinfection produce beneficial health effects.

Airborne contamination comes from a variety of sources and can circulate through a HVAC system. ASHRAE has recognized this and has given guidance on usage of UV-C for disinfection.

Our capabilities and expertise were born out of the US Defense sector in the 1980's and we have collectively 40 years experience in research and development of  technologies in the non-visible light spectrum (IR and UV) for the United States Department of Defense (DoD): Army, Navy, Airforce, Marines, Missile Defense Agency.

We have over 20 years of experience working with the Federal Government including all branches of the Department of Defense (DoD): Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, Missile Defense Agency. We also work with major defense contractors: Aerospace Corp, Lockheed Martin, Northrop Grumman and research partnerships with leading educational institutions: UCLA, UC Berkeley, UC Irvine, Stanford University.

While every installation is different, the location of the UV-C bulbs / LEDs, UV-C bulbs / LEDs choice, placement of sensors, analysis of air flow, use or no use of reflective materials, integration with building automation systems, thermal management are all analysed using NovaSpectra's proprietary system and methods. NovaUVC™ takes all these components and optimizes the collaboration of all the components to create a system that meets and verifies dosage while using the least amount of energy necessary.

Dosage Verification

Not sure if your UV-C system is working? NovaUVC™ Dosage Verification measures UV-C intensity and air flow to track the real time dosage. We can monitor and modify bulb/LED intensity as needed to track bulb/LED degradation as they age and to alert for system maintenance. No more guessing if you are getting the required UV-C dosage. Dosage Verification comes standard with all NovaUVC™ systems and can also be added to existing 3rd party UV-C disinfection systems that do not have this ability to help you know if your system is working.

Reflective & Lambertian Surfaces

Want to maximize your UV-C system efficiency? NovaReflect™ reflective and lambertian diffusion materials optimize reflectivity and diffusion of UV-C light. Highly reflective Spectral Aluminum minimizes bulb count and maximize irradiance. Optimum lambertian diffusion increases coverage area and efficiency for a wider area of dispersion. By lining the chamber or room with these special materials we are able to optimize the reflectance and diffusion of UV-C light for your specific environment for a more efficient and effective system.

AI and Analytics

Want to take your system to the next level? NovaUVC™ AI and Analytics track multiple environmental variables along with UV-C irradiation levels and any custom inputs to our cloud based analytics engine to help you deep dive into key variables and how they affect your system. Capturing live active data aids in spotting trends and points of failure. Historical data helps aids in predictive analysis to not only reduce maintenance costs and provide for more efficient budgeting but gives you the confidence to see the health trends of the system.
